Harry C. Lewis Jr.'s Obituary
Harry C. Lewis, Jr. 68, of Clinton, formerly of Glendale Heights, Illinois, died Tuesday at his home in Clinton.
Funeral Services will be 2:00pm, Friday, December 13, 2019 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory. Burial will be in the Springdale Cemetery. Harry Carleton Lewis, Jr. was born on January 19, 1951 in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Harry and Genevieve (Fish) Lewis. He was a graduate of Glenbard West High School in 1969. He married Joyce McGovern on June 1, 1985 in Wheaton, Illinois.
Harry was an engineer with the Chicago Northwestern and Union Pacific Railroad for 30 years retiring in 2007. He loved working on the railroad and helping people serving on the UTUE #597 union board. He also enjoyed watching Perry Mason movies.
Harry is survived by his wife: Joyce of Clinton; his son: Harry Lewis, III of Chicago, Illinois; and his beloved cat: Bonkers. He was preceded in death by his parents and two beloved dogs: King and Neil.
Memorials in lieu of flowers can be made to the Humane Society or any organization that helps animals.
