Harold Shaw's Obituary
Harold A. Shaw, Jr., 91, of Camanche, Iowa died Monday, October 10, 2011, at home. Graveside services will be 10:00am Saturday, October 15, 2011 at the Clinton Lawn Cemetery. The Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home & Crematory assisted the family with arrangements. Harold was born January 29, 1920 in Minneapolis, MN, the son of Harold and Hazel (Lockett) Shaw. He married Elnor Clausen on June 26, 1969 in Springfield MO; she died August 22, 2002. He was a Lyon's High School graduate. Harold was a WWII United States Marine Corps Veteran. Harold had been employed at Dupont, retiring in 1978. Survivors include his nephew, Donald G. (Erin) Shaw of St. Charles, Il; brothers, Paul Shaw and Pete Shaw of Clinton and Gary Shaw of Arizona; sisters, Carol Lawson of Clinton and Mary Nelson of North Liberty, IA; his sister-in-law, Eleanor Shaw of St. Charles, IL and nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Gale and Robert, half brother Jack, and sisters, Frances Bahnsen and Margaret Shaw.
