Fenton Harold “Harry” Rycroft passed away on Wednesday, December 25, 2024 at the Summit in Bettendorf, Iowa, at the age of 85. He will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and who was loyal to those he knew and Read Obituary
I will miss Harry’s laugh and smile and gentle, kind presence! We spent a number of summers together in Wisconsin (where we coined the nickname for him of Dr Pepper because he put pepper on everything!) and holidays together in Camanche/Elvira/LeClaire. One of my fondest memories is when he and Sarey visited me in California - a we had such fun together! We will miss you Harry, sending love to Sarey, Barb, Chuck, Lynn and all your families!

Mr. Rycroft had a tough exterior but was very welcoming to me as a new student at Camanche Middle School. Whenever I ran into years later he still exuded that welcoming presence. I truly felt that he was happy to see me. RIP Mr. Rycroft you will be remembered fondly.
