Dear Ed, Pat, Joyce, Jane and Frank and families,

What wonderful memories I have, growing up and spending great "stay-overs" with you at your farm and at our farm. Your Dad and Mom are my God Parents and how very special it was to have them in our lives. My Dad and Mom, Joe and Josie (Dode) Scheetz certainly enjoyed the many visits, card games and fun times as us "kids" played and captured the lightening bugs during the summer.

Now together again, your parents will be with so many who loved them in Heaven.

God Bless and Keep each of you. Your Dad and Mom were so very proud of each of you.

Sincerest sympathy to you and your families on the loss of your dad. I always admired him for being such a "gentle" man. He was a good friend to my parents, and I remember his kindness when my dad passed away. They're together now in Heaven, and there's probably a euchre game going on.

Dear family of my uncle Bud Rohret, I am sorry to hear of your Dad's death and sorry that I cannot get to the funeral. One of my fondest memories is of a week I spent with your Mom and Dad on their farm.This was before any of you were born and while I was in grade school. I don't remember the year. Your dad and mom were very special to me. They were so gracious and welcoming whenever I could get to Iowa and see them. They were bright, warm, interested and interesting really GOOD people. I babysat Ed when Pat was born etc. I was all of 10 yrs. old so you can imagine the care I gave. I just remember how kind Bud was. Lillian helped me through when my first husband died and I had 2 babies. Strong, silent, but there! Frank I am your godmother and though we don't now know one another I've followed your life closely.
