Gretchen Fullerton's Obituary
Gretchen B. Fullerton, 84, of Clinton died Monday, January 19, 2009 at Crestridge Care Center in Maquoketa. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, January 23, 2009 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home and Crematory. Funeral services will be private on Saturday. Burial will be in Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Michael, Andrew, Mathew, Lucas and Jordan Fullerton, and Ronald Porterfield. Honorary pallbearers will be Steven, Kenneth, and Marcus Fullerton, Thomas Wynn, Kirk Baird, Ben Togtman, and Wayne Gurges.
Gretchen Beryl Hindley was born on January 7, 1925 in Centerville, IA, the daughter of Francis and Juanita (Beardsley) Hindley. She married Robert A. Fullerton on September 27, 1952 in Redondo Beach, CA. She was employed at K Mart for many years until her retirement in 1987.
She is survived by her husband Robert of Clinton; her children: Michael (Renee) Fullerton of Davenport, IA, Leslie Ann (Ronald) Porterfield of Hoffman Estates, IL, Andrew M. (Tammy) Fullerton of Boone, IA, and Mathew J. (Natalie) Fullerton of Clinton; 10 grandchildren, and one brother: Charles (Janet) Hindley of Clinton.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters, and 2 brothers.
