Gloria R. Pray's Obituary
Gloria R. Pray, 81, of Camanche, IA, passed away Saturday September 28, 2024 it the University of Iowa. There will be no services, cremation will take place at Snell-Zornig Funeral Home. Online condolences may be expressed at snellzornig.com.
Gloria was born March 11, 1943 in Clinton, Iowa the daughter of Vertus and Elsie (Casper) Petersen. She was a graduate of Goose Lake High School. Gloria married Edward “Al” Pray June 23, 1962 in Preston, Iowa; Al died January 25, 2015.
Gloria was self-employed, cleaning homes for many years. Gloria and Al rode and showed horses for many years, she was a die-hard Cubs fan, enjoyed all sports and especially loved her family.
Survivors include her daughter, Jodi Collins of Camanche; grandson, Dustin (Mackenna) Collins of Fulton, IL; a very special great-granddaughter, Brinley Collins and brother, Roger (Patty) Petersen of Clinton.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and sister Barbara Bell.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family for a favorite charity.
