Glenn A. Williams' Obituary
Glenn A. Williams, 65, of Maquoketa, formerly of Camanche, passed away Monday, December 20, 2021 at University of Iowa Hospital, Iowa City. A celebration of Glenn’s life will be held from 11:00AM to 1:00PM Saturday, January 22, 2022 at the Camanche Chapel Snell-Zornig, Concluding with military honors. Glenn was born October 12, 1956 in Clinton, Iowa, the son of Elzie and Mary (Hugunin) Williams. Glenn was a United States Army Veteran. He had also been employed at Husco International Inc., Maquoketa and had been a professor at Clinton Community College.
Glenn was a Lifetime member of the Camanche VFW and the Izaak Walton League. He was a huge supporter of Toys for Tots and the Second Amendment. He was also a member of AmVets.
He is survived by his daughters, Wyndi (Kenneth) Thompson and Jennifer (Kim) Davis both of Peru, IN; grandchildren, Brooke, Christopher,Chelsea, Quinn,Danielle, and MacKenzee; two bonus grandchildren Kourtni and Benjamin; and two great-grandchildren Ally and Abby.
Glen was preceded in death by his parents, a sister and a brother.
