Glen Lueders' Obituary
Glen E. Lueders, 51, of Clinton, passed away, Thursday, December 11, 2014 at Mercy Medical Center – North.
Funeral Services will be 10:30am, Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory. Burial will be in the Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Robert Neilsen, Brad Rice, Justin Nylin, Chris Melvin, Glen Messerich, and Steve Wilden. Visitation will be Monday from 4:00-8:00pm at the funeral home.
Glen Ellis Lueders was born on August 14, 1963 in Clinton, Iowa, the son of Willis and Patricia (Graham) Lueders. He graduated from Clinton High School in 1981 and then the Morrison Institute of Technology in 1983. He married Carol Melvin on April 22, 1988 in Clinton.
Glen was currently employed at 3M as a processor for the past 24 years. He previously worked as a draftsman for Sargen and Lundy in Chicago and Price Brothers in Ohio.
Glen enjoyed camping, boating, and watching baseball especially the Clinton Lumberkings. He admired Ford Mustangs and enjoyed Christmastime, especially decorating his house with lights.
Glen is survived by his wife: Carol of Clinton; three children: Shelby Lueders of Mt. Pleasant, Iowa, Jon Lueders of Clinton, and Kara Lueders of Amboy, Illinois; his mother: Pat Lueders of Clinton; his brother: Guy Lueders of Clinton, his sister: Gail Carstens of Blue Grass, Iowa, also aunts, uncles, and many nieces and nephews.
Glen was preceded in death by his father, his grandparents, and his mother and father-in-law.
