Gertrude Ann Peters' Obituary
Gertrude Ann Peters, 82, of Camanche, IA, passed away Monday, February 10, 2014 at her home in Camanche. Memorial services will be held at a later date. The Camanche Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home & Crematory assisted the family with arrangements.
Gertrude was born March 6, 1931 in Scott County, Iowa, the daughter of John and May (Poppy) Buhman. She was a 1949 LeClaire High School graduate. She married Darrell D. Peters on March 6, 1952 in Clinton.
Gertrude was a homemaker and farm wife. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church.
Survivors include her husband, Darrell of Camanche; daughters, Susan Peters of Minnesota and Gail (Dean) Gluesing of Clarence, IA, and grandchildren, Jesse and Christopher.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Jeanette and Josephine and brother, Marvin.
