Geraldine W. Mink's Obituary
Geraldine "Gerri" W. Mink, 79, of Camanche, Iowa, died Tuesday, August 28, 2012 at the Alverno, Clinton. Private services will be held Thursday, August 30, 2012 at the Camanche Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home. Public visitation will be from 5 to 7 PM, Thursday, August 30, 2012 at the Camanche Chapel, Snell-Zornig. Private burial will take place Friday at Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Friends and family are invited to a gathering at Don's home in Camanche following the visitation. Gerri was born November 19, 1932 in Leslie, Arkansas, the daughter of Perry and Nora Morrison. She married Billie Dean Mink January 13, 1955 in San Gabriel, California; he died March 11, 2006. She was employed at Clinton National Bank and Montgomery Ward for several years. Survivors include her sons, David (Lynn) Mink of Le Claire, IA and Don (Trina) Mink of Camanche, IA; seven grandsons, Aaron, Kyle, Trevor, Brandon, Zach, Cody and Travis and brother, John Morrison of San Bernardino, CA. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her sons, Dean and Dick, her parents, two sisters and a brother. Gerri's family would like to thank the nurses and staff at the Alverno for the excellent care she received.
