Dear Laufenberg Family,
We have just returned from a trip to find the notice of Jerry's death. We are so sorry and our prayers go out to you. He was a fine man who touched many lives. Be proud of friendly people skills and his talents as a good father. Everyone knew and admired him.
I had the privilege to see and talk with him at the Mercy South facility as he bravely rehabbed. Jerry will be missed.
I Knew Jerry As A Switchman At The West Yard. I Was Coming In From Chicago. Jerry Always Had A Friendly Word Or Smile That could Make Your Day. My Wife Knew Jerry As He Worked In The Yard As She Worked At The Old Barricks.. Our Prayer And Thoughts Are With The Family.
