Genevieve E. Sager's Obituary
Genevieve E. Sager, 105, of Clinton passed away August 25, 2023.
Funeral Services will be 12:00 (Noon), Friday, September 1, 2023 at the Clinton Church of Christ. Burial will be in the Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Steven Johnson, Todd Johnson, David Gool and Richard Powlistha. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the service time at the church. Genevieve Elizabeth Collins was born August 21, 1918, the daughter of Ernest and Eva (Patry) Collins. She married Harold Sager on June 29, 1940; he preceded her in death in July 1990. She worked for Dr. Dixon for 7 years as the dental office receptionist and she was an inspector at the Clinton Garment Factory. She was a member of the Clinton Church of Christ and she enjoyed the work she did at the church. She loved time spent with family, especially trips that she took to California.
Genevieve is survived by her daughter Sharon (Wayne) Johnson of Clinton; two grandchildren: Stephen and Todd Johnson; and five great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and one brother Leonard Collins and one sister Delores Johnston.
