My deepest sympathy Barb to you and your family. I was quite shocked to read this but since I haven't seen you since mom passed in 2003, we've lost touch with one another. Although I only knew him through you, the few times I did come to your house, I found him to have a great sense of humor and always had that big smile. My condolences and many prayers are with you.

I liked Gene a lot. I spent only two years in H S with him but got to know him well. What a good guy he was. My condolences to his family.
