Gary F. Pangburn's Obituary
Gary F. Pangburn, 83, of Clinton, passed away Thursday, March 23, 2023 at his home in Clinton. A celebration of Gary’s Life will be held at Slop’s at a later date. Gary was born December 5, 1939 in Clinton, Iowa, the son of Ralph and Dorothy (Miller) Pangburn. He was a 1957 Clinton High School graduate. Gary was a United States Navy Veteran.
He was employed as an iron worker with Local #111 Iron Workers Union, Rock Island, Illinois. Gary enjoyed the Mississippi River, going to Slop’s every Wednesday and he was an avid reader.
Survivors include his daughter, Dawn; grandchildren and special friends, Karen Goebel and Dennis Murphy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Terry and sister.
