Gary Allen Hayes' Obituary
Gary Allen Hayes, 65, of Camanche, Iowa, died Monday, February 4, 2019 at his home.
Funeral services will be at held at the Clinton Chapel Snell Zornig on Friday, February 8, 2019 at 12PM, Noon. Visitation to be held from 10AM until time of service. Cremation rites to follow the service. Lunch will follow at Community Reformed Church 747 North 12th street Clinton, Iowa. Honorary Pallbearers will be David Jenkins, Justin Terry, Derek Jenkins and grandchildren Jayven Hayes, Oden Benson and Brooklyn Benson.

Gary was born December 29, 1953 in Clinton Iowa son of William and Annamarie (Staben) Hayes. Gary was married to Debra (Benson) on July 26, 2005. Gary had been employed at Kopp’s Grocery Store and International Paper until plant closure. He also worked at various other places until he retired In October 2017. Gary loved and cherished time with family and friends, fishing, watching the Chicago Bears and his many trips to visit his family in Texas.
Survivors include his wife, Debra, his son, Bill (Cindy) Hayes of St. Charles, IL; his daughter, Katie Hayes of Clinton, his stepson David (Sharon) Benson of Magnolia Texas; brother, Charles Hayes of Clinton and grandchildren Jayven Hayes, Oden Benson and Brooklyn Benson and his faithful and loving dog Doc “Bud-Bud” Hayes who never left his side.
He was preceded in death by grandson Devon Hayes and his parents.
