I met Garry only briefly at Ellery's graduation, but the conversation we had will never be forgotten. After a chat on walking sticks, the discussion turned to other things, including our faith in Christ. Garry talked of how proud he is of the pastor his church is blessed to have, how grounded this pastor is in the Bible, that the Bible is The Word of God, and the pastor is teaching on Revelation. He also spoke of the devotion he has to his congregation. We talked of the coming Rapture and how magnificent this will be. Well, Garry beat us Home but just from our conversation, we can all be assured of exactly where he is right now. I cannot help but believe that Garry helped lead many to Christ and was unafraid to speak of the travesties that are taking place in America's once solid churches, which have now fallen. I also feel Garry heard the words "Well done!" when he arrived Home. I pray that others will take up that sword that Garry proudly held high, stay strong in our Lord and carry on where he left off. I'm sorry I could not have known this man long before that one brief slice in time, but I am most thankful I got to meet him at all. I hope we'll get to know one another better when it is my turn to leave this world behind. Blessings and peace be with the family. May God comfort your hearts as you grieve this loss.
