Furman Doty's Obituary
Furman “Wade” Doty, 49, of Clinton, passed away, Thursday, July 16, 2015 at St. Francis Hospital in Peoria, Illinois. He is at peace with and with his mom and dad.
A memorial service will be 1:00 pm Saturday, July 25, 2015 at the Clinton Church of Christ. Online condolences may be expressed by visiting his obituary at www.snellzornig.com. A celebration in honor of his life will follow the service at Hook’s Pub in Clinton.
Furman Wade Doty was born on April 13, 1966, the son of Furman and Karen (Holten) Doty.
He was a beloved artist and musician in the community and was a loving father and friend. He toured with multiple bands throughout the country; they were like family to him.
Wade is survived by his children: Carly Doty of Madison, Wisconsin, Virginia Doty of Clinton, and Manny Doty of Clinton; and his fiancé Tia Coulsen (Holt).
Wade was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
