Dear Mary,
I've enjoyed the contact I've had with you through Second Reformed's "Coffee Break". I was so sorry to hear of the death of your husband. Today at our Moms In Touch prayer time we were focusing on Shield. May God b your shield and protector as you deal with this transition in your life and may you feel his comfort and presence daily.
Mary; I just found out today (2/8/09) about Fred passing away. I am so sorry to hear this. I have not seen Fred in a few years but have tried to keep up with my fellow Chemplex workers, My prayers and thoughts go out to you and your family in this difficult time.
Our Thoughts and Prayers are with you as you grieve the Loss of you husband, father and Grandfather. He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered.

I did not have the priveledge of meeting Fred, but I did have the fortune to know his daughter, Karla. Karla and her husband attended our church, First Presbyterian in Bucyrus, OH, and we miss them and children allot. Karla is such a caring, compassionate, and commom sense person, that I just know, Fred must have been the same. I look forward to seeing him in heaven. Debbie Hablitzel
Fred was the best. He was unfailingly cheerful and always doing something for someone. Fred never had an unkind word to say about anyone. The world is poorer for his absence.
Mary, Amber and family...we're so sorry. May time heal the hurt.
Aunt Mary, Todd, Karla, and Amber- My prayers are with all of you right now and in the days to come. Uncle Fred was always there with a great big hug for me each Sunday morning at church...and any other time our families spent time together, even as a child. I still remember how you (Mary) and Fred would make us kids sing you a song (The "poochy lip" song was our favorite) to get a Tootsie Roll pop and how we'd always end up stopping by for a visit after a bike ride along the river. We always had so much fun at your house. :) Fred's arms were always open and the love he had for his family and his Lord could not be missed by anyone he came in contact with. I'm sorry I can not be there during this difficult time but please know Melissa and I are praying for all of you; that you'll feel the Lord's grace and love now, more than ever. Amber and family, I am so very sorry for your loss. I didn't know your Dad Amber, but you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. May you all find comfort in God's loving arms.
Mary and family: We were so sad to hear of Fred's passing. What comfort we have that he is in the presence of the Lord now. I have great memories of Fred (boat trips out on the island, cutting wood on the wapsi, family gatherings at your place in Camanche). We are thinking of you during this difficult time. I was just thinking of my memories of Fred. How he would always change the channel right in the middle of us kids watching something on TV or how he would go really fast while we were tubing or how he would always pin us down to kiss us....Fred was such a Huge part of our childhood in the Gorsh family.
