Frank Fuller's Obituary
Frank H. Fuller, 73, of Clinton, died Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at Mercy Medical Center, North Campus, Clinton.
Memorial Services will be 2:00pm, Saturday, March 10, 2012 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory with Rev. Elizabeth Liggett officiating.
Frank Henry Fuller was born on May 30, 1938 in Clinton, Iowa, the son of Robert and Vernetta (Neubauer) Fuller. He was a 1956 graduate of Clinton High School. He then attended and graduated from Penn State University with a degree in turf management.
Frank helped build the Valley Oaks Golf course and served as its golf course superintendant until 1971. He then became the Clinton Country Club’s superintendant until his retirement after 30 years.
Frank was a member of the Iowa Golf Superintendents Association, enjoyed ice fishing, antiquing, putting together jig-saw puzzles, and traveling especially to Northern Wisconsin.
Frank is survived by his wife: Jan of Clinton; two daughters; Lisa Morin of Spragueville, Iowa, and Holly (Aaron) Scharf of Rice Lake, Wisconsin; 11 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren; and his sister: Sandy Bousman of Clinton.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorials can be made to the American Diabetes Association.
