Francis E. Ervin. 79, of Clinton, Iowa passed away on Friday, June 21, 2013 at Mercy North, Clinton.
Services will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home & Crematory. Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until the service hour at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Clinton Lawn Cemetery.
Francis was born April 17, 1934 in Clinton, Iowa, the daughter of Frank M. and Sarah A. (Haswell) Linz, Sr. She was a homemaker. Francis married Robert Pfitzer on June 3, 1951 in Clinton; she later married Eddie Ervin on September 15, 1989 in Davenport; he died July 1, 2006.
Survivors include granddaughters, Michelle Herch of Clinton; Amanda Pfitzer of Idaho; and Amber Pfitzer of Moline, IL; 5 great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Shirley Shontos of Clinton.
In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her parents, two sons, three brothers, and one sister.
