Frances Marlowe's Obituary
Frances (Pat) Marlowe, 84, formerly of Low Moor, died Thursday, June 26, 2008 at the Bickford Cottage in Clinton, Iowa. Pat was born on April 16, 1924, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to David and Anna (Tobin) Patterson. She married Andrew J. Marlowe on February 10, 1945 in Wildwood, New Jersey. They had one son, Bruce Marlowe. Her husband died in 1986. She had worked at the Clinton Garment Company. She had been active in the Low Moor Methodist Church and the Women of the Moose. Pat loved 500 and never missed her grandchildren's activities. She is survived by three grandchildren, Dr. Megan Baker, North Pole, Alaska, Andrea Marlowe, Baltimore, Maryland, Michael Marlowe, North Pole, Alaska, and her daughter-in-law Sherry Marlowe, LeClaire, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her husband and her son. Visitation will be 3-6pm Sunday, June 29, 2008 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home and Crematory. Funeral services will be at 10:00am Monday, June 30, 2008 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Low Moor Methodist Church or Mercy Healthcare Foundation.
