Evelyn F. Shaff's Obituary
Evelyn F. Shaff, 80 of Camanche, passed away, Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at her home.
Funeral Services will be 10:30am Saturday, December 10, 2022 at the Camanche Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory. Burial will be in the Shaffton Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:00am to the service time Saturday at the funeral home.
Evelyn Faye Albrecht was born on July 12, 1942, in Davenport, Iowa, the daughter of Franz and Elna (Hamann) Albrecht. She was a 1960 graduate of North Scott High School and graduated from Clinton Community College. She married John T. Shaff on November 12, 1966, in Eldridge, Iowa.
Evelyn was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and participated in the management of the family farm. She was a member of Community Reformed Church, and volunteered at the Pregnancy Center and Bargain Bonanza.
Evelyn is survived by her husband: John T. of Camanche; four children: Robert (Dixie) Shaff of Camanche, Joseph Shaff of Gleenwood Springs, Colorado, Jolene Shaff of Camanche, and Peter (Kristal) Shaff of Camanche; 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, one grandson, two brothers, and one great-grandson.
Memorials can be made to the Pregnancy Center.
