Evelyn M. Dash's Obituary
Evelyn M. Dash, 99, of Clinton, passed away, Thursday, February 5, 2015 at the Alverno.
Funeral Services will be 1:00pm on what would have been her 100th birthday, Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory. Burial will be in the Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be her grandsons. Visitation will be from 11:00am to the service time Tuesday at the funeral home.
Evelyn Maude Goodell was born on February 10, 1915 in Turtle Lake Wisconsin, the daughter of Stanley and Millie (West) Goodell. She was a 1933 graduate of Frederic High School – Frederic, Wisconsin. She married William E. Dash on June 20, 1934 in Clam Falls, Wisconsin; he died December 20, 2006.
Evelyn was a homemaker. She was a member of the Clinton Church of Christ where she was in the choir and taught Sunday School for 40 years. She was a member of the Joy Circle and enjoyed crocheting. She crocheted many caps, pairs of mittens and scarves for orphans and old folks and “Caps for Clinton’s Kids”.
Evelyn is survived by her children: Douglas (Shirley) Dash of Clinton, Gary (Delores) Dash of Clinton, Robert Dash of Albany, Illinois, Judy Voda of Clinton, and David (Brenda) Dash of Waipahu, Hawaii; 18 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great grandchildren; and one sister: Gladys Dash of Freeport, Illinois.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two sons; two sisters, and two brothers.
