Eugene Perschy's Obituary
Eugene P. Perschy, 69, of Clinton died Monday, July 5, 2010 at home. Funeral services will be 10:30am Saturday, July 10, 2010 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes and Crematory. Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00pm Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery in Camanche, where military honors will be conducted by the Clinton AMVETS Post #28. Eugene Paul Perschy was born on November 11, 1940 in Sioux City, IA, the son of John and Mary (Oneill) Perschy. He attended Sioux City Schools. He was a United States Navy Veteran. He was employed as a Project Engineer with Collis Tool Inc. in Camanche for 35 years until his retirement in 2006. He was a member and past governor of the Clinton Moose Lodge, where he received his Fellowship Degree and was a member of the AMVETS Post #28. Eugene was a Green Bay Packers and a St. Louis Cardinals fan. He is survived by his three daughters: Jean Marie Perschy of Rockford, IL, Kathy (Les) Brown of Camanche, and Cindy Dever of Birmingham, AL; 4 grandchildren, one sister: Barbara Ann Junck of Camanche, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers. Memorials may be made to the family.
