Ernestine Boekeloo's Obituary
Ernestine M. Boekeloo, 83, of Clinton, died Sunday, December 4, 2011 at Mercy Living Center – South. There will be no services or visitation. The Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes and Crematory is in charge of arrangements. Ernestine Mae Boekeloo was born on September 23, 1928 in Clinton, Iowa, the daughter of Charles and Mabel (Laurent) Zirbes. She married Howard Boekeloo on October 13, 1946 in Clinton, Iowa; he later died October 31, 1988. She was a homemaker. She is survived by three sons: Steve (Patty) Boekeloo of Clinton, Ron (Cindy) Boekeloo of Clinton, Dennis (Kathleen) Boekeloo of Camanche; two daughters: Marsha (Brent) Klare of Clinton, and Cathy Boekeloo of Clinton; 12 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and two sons: Alan & Larry.
