Erna Rouse's Obituary
Erna M. Rouse, 81, of Clinton, died Thursday, October 28, 2010, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City, Iowa. Graveside Services will be 10:00am, Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at Springdale Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 4pm to 6pm at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes and Crematory.
Erna Meta Dau was born on July 23, 1929 in Bryant, Iowa, the daughter of Claus and Theresa (Nissen) Dau. She was a 1947 graduate of Lyons High School. She married Lloyd W. Rouse on December 27, 1947 in Clinton, Iowa.
Erna was a homemaker and a member of Community Congregational Church.
Erna is survived by her daughter: Linda Rouse of Johnstown, Colorado; two sisters: Venita Hebdon of Clinton, and Alice Diettrick of Clinton; one brother: John Dau of Clinton; and other family members in the Clinton area. Erna was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and one son, Gary Lloyd Rouse.
Memorials can be made to the Clinton Humane Society.
