Erin Hansen's Obituary
Erin L. Hansen, 40, of Camanche, IA, died Wednesday in Lake Forest, Illinois. A memorial visitation will be from 4PM to 6PM Monday, February 25, 2008 at the Camanche Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home and Crematory. A private family service will be held prior to the visitation. Erin was born November 17, 1967 in Clinton, Iowa the daughter of James and Marcia (Hass) Richter. She was a 1986 Clinton High School graduate and attended Mount St. Clare College for two years. Erin married Roger Hansen August 30, 1994 in Baraboo, Wisconsin. She had been employed as an associate at the Camanche Elementary School and previously had been employed at the Zion Day Care Center, Clinton. Survivors include her beloved husband, Roger of Camanche; son, Phillip Hansen at home; stepdaughter, Lisa Hansen of Clinton; father, James Richter of Clinton; mother Marcia (Jack) Gross of Thomson, IL; 2 brothers, Patrick Richter of Rock Island, IL and Ryan (Holly) Richter of Clinton; 2 stepsisters, Koleen Kessen of Rochelle, IL and Kim Goeffroy of San Jose, CA; her grandfather, Sylvester Richter of Clinton and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Erin was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, fraternal grandmother and her aunt. Memorials may be made for an education fund for her son.
