Elsie Milligan's Obituary
Elise L. Milligan, 97, of Camanche, died Sunday, December 2, 2007 at Harbor Crest Nursing Home, Fulton, Illinois.
Funeral Services will be 10:30am, Tuesday, December 4, 2007 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home with Pastor Christine Minor-Heilig officiating. Burial will be in the Springdale Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be grandchildren: Kevin Torrey, Brent and Aaron Holstein, Nick King, Kyle and Eric Nelson, Debbie Murphy, and Cheyenne Milligan. Visitation will be from 9:30am to the service time at the funeral home.
Elsie Louise Sievers was born on October 22, 1910 in Clinton, Iowa, the daughter of Claus and Bertha Sievers. She married Franklin B. Milligan on September 15, 1939 in Gary, Indiana; he later died December 25, 1997.
Elsie was a homemaker. She was a graduate of Clinton High School.
Elsie is survived by two daughters: Barb (Gary) Holstein of Fort Meyers, Florida and Sandy (Jeff) Nelson of Clinton; one son: Tom Milligan of Fort Walton Beach, Florida; 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Elsie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one daughter: Sharon Torrey, and two sons: David and Steve Milligan; five brothers, and two sisters.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers that memorials be made to the Harbor Crest Wish List.
