Ella Mae Plummer's Obituary
Ella Mae Plummer, 82, of Camanche, IA, passed away Monday, July 17, 2017 at Mercy Living Center-South. There will be no visitation; burial will take place at a later date at the National Cemetery, Rock Island.

Ella Mae was born January 2, 1935 in Clinton, the daughter of Arthur H. and Valley May (Schnoor) Harris. She was a 1953 graduate of Midland High School, Midland, Michigan. Ella married Glenn A. “Skinny” Plummer December 25, 1952 in Midland, Michigan. He died February 9, 2011.
She had been employed at the Clinton Garment Factory, Lord Baltimore Press and Warren Industries.
Ella liked fishing, word games and card games. She enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include her twin sons, Lynn (Rose) Plummer of Camanche and Glenn Plummer of Clinton; daughter-in-law, Deb Plummer of Preston, Iowa; six grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, sister-in-law, Bev Plummer of Midland, Michigan and two special nephews.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, a half-brother, two half-sisters and her grandson, Joseph Plummer.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
