Ella Manley's Obituary
Ella D. Manley, 105, of Clinton, passed away, August 21, 2015 at Country Meadows of York in York, Pennsylvania.
Her body was cremated and a graveside service will be take place at a later date in Clinton Lawn Cemetery. The Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes and Crematory is assisting the family with the arrangements. Online condolences can be expressed by visiting her obituary at www.snellzornig.com.
Ella was born November 22, 1909 in Goose Lake, Iowa to John and Mabel Dickey. She married William Manley August 8, 1943. He passed away July 28, 1984.
Ella taught school for 32 years. Later she gave freely of her time with the hospital Auxiliary and YWCA. She was an active member of the First United Methodist Church in Clinton.
Ella is survived by her son Daniel (Kay) Manley of S. Thomaston, ME and her daughter Mary Jo Barnhart of Dover, Pennsylvania.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and four sisters.
