Elinor Puetsch's Obituary
Elinor S. Puetsch, 92, of Camanche, died Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at the Harbor Crest Nursing Home, Fulton. There will be a private family graveside service at Rose Hill Cemetery. The Camanche Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory is handling the arrangements. Elinor Sara King was born on February 5, 1919 on Beaver Island, the daughter of Vern and Lillian (Berry) King. She married Christian Puetsch on March 6, 1940 in Clinton, Iowa; he died April 10, 1992. Elinor was a welder at Collis Company for over 20 years. She was a member of the Camanche Baptist Church. Elinor is survived by three daughters: Patsy (Jim) Krava of Camanche, Irene (Howard) Nelson of Camanche, and Cindy Puetsch of Davenport, Iowa; one son: Chris (Vi) Puetsch, Jr., of Temple, Texas, 11 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and ten great-great grandchild; two brothers: Vern (Verena) King of Clinton, Donald King of California; and one sister: Evelyn Schmidtline of California. Elinor was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one brother, and three sisters. Memorials can be made to the Harbor Crest Nursing Home.
