Eleanor Troutman's Obituary
Eleanor Jane Troutman, 84, of Camanche, died Thursday at the Eagle Point Nursing Home, Clinton.
Funeral Services will be 10:30 am, Tuesday, March 25, 2008 at Evangelical Free Church with Rev. Thomas Loyola officiating. Burial will be in the Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be grandsons Kipp Troutman, Brandon Troutman, James Troutman, Kent Daugherty, Josh Jones, and Tom Baughman, III. Honorary pallbearers will be Trever Troutman and Todd Carpenter. Visitation will be Monday from 4:00-8:00 pm at the Camanche Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home and Crematory.
Eleanor Jane Morse was born on February 15, 1924 in Milford, Iowa, the daughter of Earl and Hattie (Vance) Morse. She married Henry P. Troutman on February 8, 1945 in Clinton; he died on February 3, 2008.
Eleanor was employed with Lord Baltimore Press for several years, retiring in 1973. Eleanor attended the Evangelical Free Church and was a member of the Eagles Auxiliary. Our family chain is broken and nothing seems the same, but as God calls us one by one our chain will link again. She will be sadly missed by all.
Eleanor is survived by her two sons: Paul (Shirley) Troutman of Clinton, and Robert (Linda) Troutman of Clinton; two daughters: Norma (Tom) Jones of Fulton, and Shirley (Richard) Carpenter of Morrison, 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, one sister: Ella Ross of Des Moines, Iowa, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition her husband, Eleanor was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters, and 2 brothers. Memorials may be made to Eagle Point Nursing and Rehabilitation or to the family
