Eleanor H. Leonard, 93, of Clinton, passed away, September 1, 2021 at the Alverno.
Private Family Graveside Services will be Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at the Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory is assisting the family.
Eleanor Hilda Fredericksen was born on May 11, 1928 in Clinton, the daughter of Emil and Esther (Wallin) Fredericksen. She married George Leonard on June 8, 1946 in Clinton; he passed away November 28, 1981.
Eleanor was a homemaker. After marriage she worked various jobs including Van Allen’s Department Store and Nielsen’s Clearing House in Clinton.
Eleanor was active with TOPS Club, and she loved animals especially her dogs.
Eleanor is survived by her three children: George (Judy) Leonard of Clinton, Sandra (Michael) Kraft of Melbourne, Florida, and Michael Leonard of Clinton; 7 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, a brother, and a grandson.
Memorials can be made to the Clinton Humane Society.
