Elaine R. Lindeman's Obituary
Elaine R. Lindeman, 82, of Cedar Falls, Iowa passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at Cedar Valley Hospice Home in Waterloo, Iowa.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 am, Monday, March 21, 2022 at the Camanche Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory. Burial will be in Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Michael Hansen, Travis King, Brannon Mitchell, Dre Omoyefa, Harold Teagarden and Mark Schroeder. Visitation will be Sunday afternoon from 12:00 to 3:00 pm.
Elaine Ruth Kratz was born March 5, 1940 in Clinton, Iowa, the daughter of Robert William and Ruth Berniece (Depue) Kratz. She was a 1958 graduate of Clinton High School. She married Edward C. Williams in 1959 and together they had two children; she later married Harold E. Lindeman on October 10, 1985; he preceded her in death on February 21, 2019.
Elaine was a homemaker. She enjoyed camping and traveling with her husband in their motorhome. They would travel to Texas in the winter for many years. She enjoyed polka dancing and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her two daughters: Ruth (Larry) Maring of Camanche and Beth (Paul) Hansen of Cedar Falls, Iowa; four grandchildren: Sarah Maring of Camanche, Jessica Maring of Low Moor, Michael (Rebecca) Hansen of Janesville, Iowa and Jennifer (Travis) King of Grimes, Iowa; 10 great grandchildren; and one sister Kathleen Schroeder of Bettendorf, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one brother David Kratz.
Memorials may be made to the Cedar Valley Hospice Home.
