Eiline Aude's Obituary
Eiline Jeanette Aude, 89, of Clinton, IA, died Tuesday, September 16, 2008 at the Alverno Healthcare Facility in Clinton. Memorial services will be held Saturday, October 25, 2008 at 1:30pm at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Clinton. Burial will be in Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Eiline J. Evermann was born on March 1, 1919, in Hanley Falls, MN, the daughter of Henry and Ella (Bliesmer) Evermann. She was a 1937 graduate of Clinton High School. She married Marvin H. Aude on March 15, 1944 in Clinton; he died on February 20, 2007. She was employed for many years as a supervisor at Northwestern Bell and at A. C. Nielsen. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, the Church Circle, and was a former Girl Scout Leader. She is survived by one daughter, Lynn (Tom) Scanlin of Shelby Township, MI; 4 grandsons, one brother, Henry "Bud" (Elizabeth) Evermann of Lincoln, NE, one sister, Bernice Van Sant of Clinton; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Marvin, her son Roger, one brother and three sisters. Memorials may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church or to The Alverno.
