Edward E. Shockey, 87, of Clinton, passed away, Saturday, February 21, 2026 at MercyOne – Clinton.
Funeral Services will be 10:00am, Thursday, February 26, 2026 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4:00-7:00pm at the funeral home.
Edward Eugene Shockey was born on January 28, 1939 in Elgin, Illinois, the son of Elmer and Pearl (Green) Shockey. He married Linda Halcomb on March 27, 1965 in Clinton.
Ed worked for Interstate Power/Alliant Energy in maintenance for over 30 years retiring in 2003. He was a member of Journey Church. He enjoyed playing golf and bowling and was an avid Chicago Cubs fan.
Ed is survived by his wife: Linda of Clinton; a son: Corey (Cheryl) Shockey of Englewood, Ohio, and a grandson: Andrew Shockey. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, four brothers, and four sisters.
