Edna was much more than just the CHS bookkeeper; she was a friend, colleague, and advisor. I had the privilege of working with her until she left CHS due mostly to administrative reorganization. We laughed and complained; smiled and frowned, but she always got the job done right! She was a really good friend that I lost track of after she retired, but I miss those “good ol’ days” in the CHS bookkeeper’s office exchanging gossip while she counted money, wrote checks, and gave me “motherly” advice.
