Earlene F. Todtz's Obituary
Earlene Frances Todtz, 81, of Clinton, IA, passed away Thursday, February 13, 2014 at West Wing Place, DeWitt. Services will be 4:00 PM, Monday, February 17, 2014 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home & Crematory. Visitation will be 2:00 PM until the service hour Monday at the funeral home. Cremation will follow the service.
Earlene was born April 18, 1932 in Camanche, Iowa, the daughter of Otis Leo and Adeline Frances (Owen) Leslie. She was educated in the Camanche schools. Earlene married Donald George Todtz June 11, 1949 in Clinton, Iowa; he died November 21, 1990.
Earlene was a homemaker. She enjoyed ceramics, decorating, baking, floral arranging, bowling, embroidery, playing bingo and cards with the ladies at Park Towers. She loved to shop and was a professional shopper.
Earlene is survived by her sister, Joyce Parsons of Camanche, children, Thomas Paul Todtz of Clinton; Joy Ann Mangler of DeWitt; Gaye Lynn (Karen Nicol) Todtz of Geneseo, IL and Mark Alen (Theresa) Todtz of Clinton; seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, one great great grandson, three step-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Wylma Colehour of Mt. Carroll, IL and Cathryn Todtz of Clinton.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her, grandson, Montgomery Mangler, parents, one brother and one sister.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family.
