Words fail me." I wish for you what you wish for me " was always one of his standards. Bon Voyage Juergen.
I will always remember Doctor Holl for his kindness and intellect. Even when I was a child, he would take time to discuss and explain the matter at hand, whether it was my sprained ankle or the latest history book that he was reading. When I was older, he would save his copies of the New York Times and give them to me once he was done.
To Jon and Tim, please know how much I admired your father and that you are in my thoughts at this difficult time.
Sincerely,
Phil Klinkner
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
Dear Paula,
Our deepest sympathies to you and Brach at your great loss. Juergen was a great guy with a wonderful sense of humor, I noticed in just the few times I visited with him. One time I was in my yard and he was driving by and stopped just to chat. We talked briefly about nothing really--the weather, the boys, cars; and then he went on his way. A great guy. I know you will miss him so much. And I am so sorry for your loss. My Tom is 73 and is having heart troubles, and I worry about him every day. I don't know if I can be brave, but I know that I must, as I know you will. Our prayers are with you and Brach. Sandy David

Dear Juergen,
I and my family will miss you. Iâ??m remembering the wonderful days we spent together on the Mississippi on one of your boats, painting our apartment walls and gluing down linoleum, dining out together in Iowa and Illinois, and so many other wonderful days come to my memory.
Iâ??m so sorry that I will come home to the USA and Iowa this Tuesday, the day of your funeral, and not being able to see you again and to meet your family at your funeral.
Love Vera
To PJ and Brach, Joern and family, and Tim,

Sorry,
Vera Loening
My thoughts and prayers are with you, I am sorry for your loss.
What a kind man. Helped my, now 36yr. old daughter-fighter pilot, through so much when she was just 2. Made fighting
a very long illnes so much easier. What a nice man and a pillar to our community
Dr. Holl introduced himself to me when I first came to Mercy Medical Clinton. He shared with me some of his treasured philosophy and historical perspectives about World Events. I always found him an interesting man and worthy of respectful hearing. His unique manner and wisdom will be remembered.
My thoughts and prayers remain with his family and friends.
