Brenda and family. I am so sorry to hear this. I actually met him over at the auction house in Thompson. I wanted to bid on a sled and he said “ nah, I’ve got one in my basement. Asked for my address and dropped it off like two days later. I recently seen him out at the car wash. He came over to where I was drying my car off and we talked for a bit. The nicest man I ever met. RIP Doug.. you will so be missed..
I went into Doug's store for many years and enjoyed talking with him and seeing what he had new. He was a really nice guy. I am very sorry for your family's loss.
My daddy was always bigger than life. Plenty of memories of him taking me fishing and nicknaming me “the cat fish kid” because I always seemed to catch catfish more than him. He was always one to have a good joke to make you laugh as well. Daddy I love you and am going to miss you so much.
