Douglas M. Dash, 79, of Clinton, passed away, Sunday, March 29, 2015 at his home in Clinton.
A visitation will be Wednesday, April 1, 2015 from 5:00-8:00pm at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory. Following the visitation his body will be cremated.
Douglas Milton Dash was born on May 30, 1935 in Frederic, Wisconsin the son of William and Evelyn (Goodell) Dash. He was a 1953 graduate of Lyons High School. He married Shirley Rowe on July 19, 1956 in Clinton.
Douglas served in the United States Army from 1958-1960.
Douglas was employed with Clinton Corn/ADM for over 40 years retiring in 2000.
Douglas enjoyed hunting, fishing, shooting, bowling, and spending time with his grandchildren. He was a member of 700 Bowling Club.
Douglas is survived by his wife: Shirley of Clinton; two daughters: Theresa Dash of Sterling and Barbara Langfitt Dash of Clinton; one son: Michael (Trisha) Dash of Clinton; 6 grandchildren: Alaina Pascarella, Valerie (Mark) Lusk, Rachael Dash, Nicholas Dash, Kelsey Dash, and Alexis Langfitt, 1 great-grandson: Quinton Lusk, one step-great-granddaughter: Shelby Lusk; three brothers: Robert Dash of Albany, Il, David (Brenda) Dash of Waipahu, Hawaii, Gary (Delores) Dash of Clinton, and his sister: Judy V0da of Clinton.
Douglas was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, and a foster brother
