Dorothy M. Sandstoe, 94, of Clinton passed away Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at Eagle Point Health Care Facility, Clinton.
Memorial Services will be 2:00 pm, Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory. Visitation will be from 1:30 pm until the service time at the funeral home. Private burial will be in the Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Dorothy Mae Adams was born on January 16, 1931 in Honey Creek, Iowa, the daughter of Benjamin and Rose (McIntosh) Adams. She was a 1947 graduate of Elvira High School. She married Noble “Pete” Sandstoe on March 15, 1952; he preceded her in death on April 13, 1999. Dorothy was a homemaker who enjoyed taking care of her home and daughter. She enjoyed spending time tending to her yard and was the neighborhood mom to all.
She is survived by her daughter Christine Sandstoe of Clinton and many nieces and nephews.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, husband, infant son Keith Sandstoe, three brothers and two sisters.
