Dorothy Randall's Obituary
Dorothy Jane Randall, 90, of Clinton died Monday, August 1, 2011 at the Alverno Healthcare Facility. Funeral services will be 10:30am, Friday, August 5, 2011 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes and Crematory. Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral service at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Dorothy Jane Randall was born on March 17, 1921 in Clinton, the daughter of Rolla and Emma (Peters) Dannatt. She was a 1938 Elvira High School graduate. She married Robert Smith on September 7, 1945 in Clinton; he died in 1968. She later married Thomas Randall on May 8, 1981 in Clinton; he died in 1985. Dorothy was employed in the accounting department at Iowa Mutual Insurance Company from 1969 until her retirement in 1981. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and the Women of the Moose. She is survived by two nieces: Jacalyn (Ken) Smith of Alma, MI and Roberta (Robert) Snyder of Quincy, MI. She was preceded in death by her two husbands and a half brother, George Juhl Sr. of Rapid City, SD. Memorials may be made to Mercy Hospice.
