Dorothy E. Pratt, 89, of Clinton, Iowa, passed away, Tuesday, January 6, 2015 at her home in Clinton.
Services will be 10:30 AM, Saturday, January 10, 2015 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory. Visitation will be from 4 PM, to 7 PM Friday, January 9, 2015 at the Clinton Chapel. Burial will follow at Clinton Lawn Cemetery.

Dorothy was born December 10, 1925 in Belden, NE, the daughter of Ed and Katie (Barnes) Coulter. She was educated in the Randolph, NE, rural schools and was a graduate of Clinton Community College. She married Maurice Pratt on August 3, 1942 in Pierce NE; he died November 6, 1996.
She was employed at Eagle Foods as a cashier for 24 years, retiring in 1985.
She was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
Survivors include her children, Sherry Parsons of Clinton; Carolyn Miller of Clinton; David (Beckie) Pratt of Houston, TX and Timothy (Janet) Pratt Port Byron, IL; 19 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, daughters, Sharolyn Cozzens and Debbie Jewell, son, Maurice Joseph Pratt, two sisters and four brothers.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
