Dorothy Kellermann's Obituary
Dorothy Kellermann, 98, of Camanche, went to be with her Lord and Savior on, Thursday, February 15, 2024.
There will be a private visitation and service at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home. As per her wishes cremation rite have been accorded with Burial at Clinton Lawn Cemetery.
Dorothy was born on February 6, 1926 to Lee J. Elliott and Alice (House) Elliot in Clinton, Iowa. After graduating from Clinton High School she worked at Clinton Corn (ADM) for 4 years. On December 19, 1948 she married the love of her life, Lyle Kellermann at Zion Lutheran Church. He preceded her in death on December 11, 1978 after 30 years of marriage.
She is survived by two granddaughters: Audrey Kellermann of Florida and Amy (Clay) Kyner of Pennsylvania; two great-grandchildren; her sister-in-law: Verda Mae Glahn; several nieces and nephews including her God-daughter: Christy Christansen, and a special niece: Katrina House. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, a son: Tim; and two brothers: Marvin and Donnie.
Memorials can be made to Zion Lutheran Church or Camp Courageous.
