I remember the family reunions growing up, and Uncle Wilty and Aunt Dorothy. I am Bill and DOris Slattery's grand duaghter and Dick Slattery's eldest daughter. It is sad to see the older generation leaving us, along with their grand stories. I just wanted you to know you have my sympathies and I wish I could be there to represent my family. I am so sorry for your loss.

Dear Mary Ellen,
I am so sorry for the loss of your mother. I remember the day after I lost my mother four years ago, you came up to me after Mass at Sacred Heart to comfort me. I only wish I were there to do the same for you now. No matter our age, when we lose a parent, we all feel like orphans.
