Ron , Dottie & I went to the Iowa State Fair together, 1st time she ever been. She loved it, Ron & her stay all day while I pooped out, went home. They did everything, food, drinks, rides & had a ball.
I will cherish the memories we made together. From disassembling a bed on the farm and tossing the pieces out the window, to the night you saved me from a drunk girl trying to have her way with me at Humps bar—those moments still make me smile.
I’ll never forget the time I found myself in a bind, and you dropped everything in the middle of the night to help me. As much as I loved and respected you for that, it wasn’t a one-time thing—that was just who you were. You showed up for people.
You loved your friends, your family, and life itself. And anyone who had the privilege of knowing you couldn’t help but love you in return. You will always be remembered and deeply missed.
