Dorothy “Dottie” J. Jacobsen, 44, of Clinton passed away Tuesday, March 17, 2026 at her home.
Funeral Services will be 6:00 pm, Monday, March 23, 2026 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes & Crematory. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm until the service time at the funeral home. Dorothy Jo Jacobsen was born October 17, 1981 in Clinton, Iowa, the daughter of Ronald and Mary (McDonald) Jacobsen. She attended Lincoln High School in Clinton. She recently was working as a cook at Wendy’s in Clinton. She was a caring, loving woman who enjoyed camping, riding motorcycles and she adored children. More than anything she enjoyed time spent with her family and friends. She was an avid Iowa Hawkeye and Chicago Cubs fan.
Dottie is survived by her son Lukas Jacobsen of Clinton; father Ronald Jacobsen of Clinton; sister Cyara Peterson of Clinton; love of her life Angelique Musel of Clinton; bonus children: Brittany (Raymond) Balfour of Clinton, Austin Musel of Clinton and Carissa (Johnny) Stechkober of Joliet, Illinois; multiple bonus grandchildren; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her mother Mary Jacobsen.
