Dorothy Dietrick's Obituary
Dorothy M. Dietrick, 91, of Clinton, died Tuesday, October 21, 2008 at Eagle Point Nursing Home, Clinton. Funeral Services will be 1:00pm, Friday, October 24, 2008 at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home and Crematory. Burial will be in the Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be grandsons: Brian Pawlik, Jerry Edfors, Rob Hyde, Troy Dietrick, David Hyde, Eric Edfors, Michael Dietrick, Travis Dietrick, and Shane Fetui. Visitation will be from 11:00am to the service time Friday at the funeral home. Dorothy Margaret Conover was born on March 17, 1917 in Zumbrota, Minnesota, the daughter of Frank and Nettie (Lesher) Conover. She married Wilbert Dietrick on January 4, 1938 in Minneapolis, Minnesota; he later died in 1958. Dorothy was employed with the Curtis Company and the Bennett Box Company. Dorothy enjoyed crocheting, playing cards, crossword puzzles, gardening, and spending time with her family. Dorothy is survived by five daughters: Arlene (Tad) Pawlick, Judy Edfors, Carol (Don) Hyde, and Sandra Peterson all of Clinton, and Monica Dietrick of Bellevue, Iowa; two sons: Robert Dietrick of Camanche, and Mike (Carol) Dietrick of Clinton; 23 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren, and 12 great-great-grandchildren. Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, 12 siblings, and one great-grandchild. Memorials can be made to the family.
