Doris Miller's Obituary
Doris Emma Miller, 93, of Camanche, died Sunday March 30, 2008 at the Alverno Health Care Facility, Clinton. Funeral Services will be 1:00pm, Friday, April 4, 2008 at St. Mark?s United Methodist Church, Camanche. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mike Cross, Jess Hansen, Joe Miller, Jr., Kenneth Bennett, Rocky Kampling and Greg Alm. Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00pm to 7:00 pm at the Camanche Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Home and Crematory. Doris was born August 7, 1914 in Camanche, Iowa the daughter of Edwin William and Alta (Hugunin) Miller. She was a Clinton High School graduate. She was a member of St. Mark's United Methodist Church and the Royal Neighbors of America. Doris had been employed with the Rich Toy Factory, Fairbanks-Morris, Warren Industries, Lord Baltimore and GE where she retired in 1982. She is survived by her sister, Josey Hansen of Camanche; sister-in-law, Ruth Miller of Clinton; 5 nieces; 7 nephews and several great nieces and great nephews and they all loved her dearly. She was preceded in death by her parents 3 brothers and her twin sister. Memorials may be made to St. Mark?s United Methodist Church.
